“To hell with facts! We need stories!” - Ken Kesey
My job is to basically create stories. I look at numbers, facts and current events, and find patterns in them. Behind the noise, these patterns tell you the real stories: that inequality will continue to increase; that poverty drains the human drive and the public purse; that the electorate are no better than the elected.
“A good story cannot be devised; it has to be distilled.” Raymond Chandler

After seeing the stories occasionally comes thoughts - sometimes innovative, sometimes unique and sometimes neither. I've found that if I don't write down these thoughts then they simply disappear in the abyss that is my memory. This is the reason behind this blog. For better or worse, I'm publishing online the results of the electrical impulses that connect the neurons in my head.

There are days that the stories come to me - and then there are days that I have to force facts together. There are ideas that sometimes I won't agree with but am just entertaining. All this to say that you should take the stuff on here with a grain of salt, like anything else on the internet.
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Aristotle Greek
Lastly, all opinions on here are of my own (and some not even). Nothing written in this blog should be attached with any of my affiliations.
